Photographers I like

Everyone knows Ansel Adams.  Many will recognize the names of Henri Cartier-Bresson and Steve McCurry.  Tech-savy photogs have probably checked out Chase Jarvis' blog (and his work).  These guys are all great photographers, but they don't necessarily send the creative juices pumping through my veins.  Who does?  The people below.

Jim Richardson

If there's one photographer from whom I could have 1/100th of his or her portfolio and be perfectly content for the rest of my life, it'd be Jim's.  I first saw Jim's work in National Geographic, featuring his Great Plains and Cuba, Kansas, pieces.  It has stuck with me ever since then.  I've had a chance to attend a conference where Jim Spoke and he's one of the most gracious, humble photographers I've ever met.  Which is cool, especially considering he's got "the gig" in shooting pieces for National Geographic.  Plus, he's shot photos in Montana.  His blog is another great read.

Jerod Foster

I met Jerod through a mutual friend while he was attending Texas Tech and I was at Oklahoma State.  Jerod's work just looks flat-out great, and he's also a very humble guy.
